Great branding starts with a great logo! It’s often the first visual representation of your business that customers will encounter, and the thing they’ll continue to see most frequently going forward. For that reason, it can be a powerful tool in creating a lasting impression.
Done right, your logo has the ability to make an instant impact and send a clear message, telling your customer something of who you are.
Perhaps you’re a start-up and have reached that exciting moment of being ready to take the plunge and design your first ever logo.
Or maybe you’re after a refreshed look and feel, as part of your brand’s natural evolution. After all, it’s vital that your logo remains up-to-date and fit-for-purpose, reflecting where your business is at today.
So, what does the process look like?
We’ll meet and consult with you, asking questions that will help us develop an understanding of what resonates with you and, in turn, your audience. We’ll discuss the existing logos of businesses you admire, and ask about your business goals. We’ll really dig deep to discover the type of logo you want and need, and more importantly will authentically convey who you are.
YOUR LOGO CONCEPTS
Initially, we’ll come back and present between six and eight concepts, sometimes with up to 20 variations in total. Throughout this stage, we’ll generally work in black and white, so you’ll be able to focus on the design elements and what resonates, rather than being distracted by colour.
Done right, your logo has the ability to make an instant impact and send a clear message, telling your customers something of who you are.
After due consideration, we’ll ask you to select your favourite concept, or pick out different elements from different concepts that you would like to see combined. In the unlikely scenario that nothing hits the mark, we’ll head straight back to the drawing board and work on some more concepts.
REFINING YOUR LOGO
Once everybody is comfortable with the design, we’ll introduce a colour matrix into the equation, which considers how different colours will impact the emotions of your customers in different ways. Once agreed to, the final colours will be applied to the final concept, and we’ll package up all variations needed for your multiple branding touch points.
Each solution is unique, so contact us today to start discussing your logo.
